I could not believe my eyes when I looked at the directory listing application. It was one of the oddest services that we all see in Indian movies in which typically the hero's friend would have bundle of ideas to solve lovers' issues.

Listen to me.
“Cost no issue, we need quality” is the loud slogan of the modern world. People are flush with funds and are ready to spend especially for sleek gadgets that include mobile phones and eers (ear phones), iPads, etc. Anything that entertains them while on the move is hotly purchased.
I saw an advanced eer which is otherwise called ear phone that fits into mobile phones and other portable music players. The device looked difficult for me to assemble. However, I am sure my son would fit it in less than 5 minutes.
It is ideal for all kinds of music lovers as well professional musicians. I read that it never falls out. That is definitely an added attraction to me. The most common complaint when it comes to ear phones is the instruments don’t always sit snugly. I am glad it is taken care of here.

Add some spice to this summer fruit salad special.
This bowl of fruit salad's main ingredient is Mango-the king of fruits. Actually, I found out this while I was seraching for another stunning image of mango recipes on Yahoo! As usual, Yahoo! played hide and seek but it worked out to be beneficial as ever.
This is hot summer. Our body long for any juicy fruit. Which is better than mango when it comes to juicy, pulpy and sweetie?
The other ingredients (apart from mango) in this fruit salad are:
* seedless black grapes
* peaches,
* strawberries
* unsweetened desiccated coconut
* caster sugar
* Kashmiri degi mirch or cayenne pepper
* mustard powder (optional)
* Salt
I look at the ingredients and the cooking/preparation methods of any recipe that I get attracted but try my own imagination bypassing (ungratefully) the original recipe.
If you have the above said fruits and other ingredients but still want to stay loyal to the author of the recipe, please visit http://allrecipes.co.in/recipe/61/spiced-seasonal-fruit-salad.aspx.
Don't forget to say thanks to Brenda Houghton, the author of this 'Spiced Seasonal Fruit Salad'.

Can Regency Beauty’s president and CEO answer my questions?
“Mala, do you know by any chance whether Regency Beauty Institute offers a training on owning and maintaining a spa?”-asked my beautician. She is a middle aged woman running a moderately profitable beauty parlor near my home.
I was taken aback by her question. She kindled my curiosity. In fact I too want to know whether there is a special school for spa or is it part of a cosmetology course. Of late, I see more advertisements of spa parlors in exotic locales alluring customers with unheard of spa treatments such as tender coconut water bath mixed with African rose petals.
* I wonder how such beauty treatment methods are conceived!
* Is there a research going on unique beautifications?
* Is there a separate research department in leading cosmetology schools such as Regency Beauty Institute that has more campuses than any other vocational school chain?
May be, Hayes Batson, Regency’s president and CEO can answer my questions.

Most disappointing thing about IPL 5
The most disappointing thing about IPL 5 apart from watching CSK's poor show is the quality of advertisements.
All the previous IPL ads, especially by Vodofone were absolutely great. The zoozoos by Vodafone, the pug dog by the same advertiser were captivating.
This year, not a single advertisement is entertaining just like CSK's performance.
Though I wanted Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to reach the last four, I did not like them to be there by sheer luck. Bangalore deserved it more than any other team. I am very sad for the sake of Chris Gayle whose game gave us all so much pleasure. He gave it all but stood betrayed. Sorry mate!
But then, Royal Challengers Bangalore depended on Gayle only and that proved to be their downfall.
Cricket is not a 'one man show'.

Social butterflies are not favoring Google+
What would you say when someone asks you if you are a social butterfly?
I would not stare as I guess it to be something to do with my online presence in social media sites such as Linkedin, Tagged, FaceBook and Twitter.
Yes, I have a presence in them all and more but I am sure I made no impact on other personal bloggers like me because, I have no updates about games, gadgets and video clips.
I read somewhere recently that visitors to your blogs who happened to be there because of your social media signals, spend on average 50% more time than those who land on your blogs through search engines!
I don't know how far it is true but after updating myself with Google's Penguin updates, I am forced to agree with what I read.
I am a bit surprised that Google+ is not a hot destination among social media butterflies. It needs more time to attract social media butterflies as its garden has not yet started blooming.
Summing it up, social profiles and updates are more engaging than blogs.
I am stumped.
visitors have no problem hanging out.

Give yourself some fun moments.
Oh how I enjoy looking at cute cats!
Look at this! Garden mugging?
Rare photos not only require good camera and alert eyes. You also require luck.
You must be at the right place, at the right time and with the right people (right animals?)
This rule applies to bloggers too. Only, I would rephrase the words slightly differently.
Hmmm...protective or possessive?

Why general liability insurance is a must for all businesses.
When my auditor asked me if my business is covered under general liability insurance, my mind went blank for several seconds. Before I could gather my thoughts, he informed that all business owners, small or big are now going with the latest trend of getting their business covered under commercial general liability insurance.
I was not sure about the necessity to take such a step as my business doesn’t face any serious liabilities. Since my business was established in 2003, I hardly paid 5% of the service fee I collected.
Considering the amount that I paid back, I could choose not to incur extra expenses by way of paying for business liability cover.
However, my auditor convinced me to listen to his advice, foreseeing the expected business growth in the coming years.
I suppose he is right. Nevertheless, I think I can afford it; it won’t eat away my profits glaringly.
If you are also a small business owner with a few staff, learn what commercial general liability insurance is and what the probable liabilities your business might face are. I am sure you too would see the sense in it.

Bothered about blackheads?
I could not control myself any more. I have been restraining myself thus far from voicing my opinion about the obsession on getting rid of the acne scar among the youth these days.It is painful to note that they are taking extreme steps to cure acne and the scars that pimples leave behind.
Acne scars commonly known as 'blackhead' are not at all permanent! Blackheads will disappear in due course.
Nevertheless, people have no patience. They want a blemish free face now if not yesterday. There is no point in a knee jerk reaction. A little knowledge about acne, the types of acne and why they appear only on certain types faces would greatly help people to avoid getting acne.
People spend time on useless pursuits online. They even boast about how much time they are on social networking sites and shopping malls.
Internet can be much more useful in gaining insight on fundamental health issues. I have read extraordinary information about natural ways to get rid of acne scars. They are available if you look for them.
Some of the easily available natural remedies to cure acne scar:
* Lemon
* Sandalwood
* Honey

Oh no, not one more!
Closely on the heels of anti-depressant Celexa, another anti-depressant produced harmful side effects to new born babies whose mothers took oral medication to release their pregnancy anxiety leading to Pristiq Lawsuit.
As a woman, I know the intensity of disappointment when babies are born with chronic birth defects for no fault of their mothers. Since September 2005, information has been emerging that certain antidepressants may cause birth defects such as skull deformation and club foot.
A club foot is a condition where one or both feet turn downward and inward. Earlier, anti-depressant drugs that caused these injuries are Celexa, Effexor, Lexapro and now Pristiq.
As ever, product liability claims lawyers at O’Hanlon, McCollom & Demerath, have come forward to offer free legal evaluation to suspected victims of Pristiq.

A review of Duranto Express.
Here is my husband's review of Duranto Express train:
* The coaches were already infested with cockroaches.
* Since it is a non-stop train covering nearly 500 KMs, the water in the toilet soon ran out. There is no way to fill the water tanks again.
* Lunch served in sealed packets were difficult to open with hands. My husband told me he clumsily tore open a packet of salad spilling the contents on the floor.
* The waiters behaved excellently and helpful.
* There was the usual delay in reaching the destination on time.
Would he travel again?
"Yes and no" said my husband.

If only we have a book that asks and answers all our common questions...?
We are not that fortunate but the Chinese are. They have what is supposed to be the oldest almanac in the world called "T'ung Shu". It means "Book of myriad things".
Do you know the date of this almanac? Hold your breath; It was produced in China in 2256 B.C.
It contains folk remedies, charts and predictions, proverbs, palmistry etc.

How Doximity helps physicians.
One of my husband’s friends came back to India about 4 years before. He was working somewhere in Windsor as an Internal medicine specialist. He came to my house yesterday for lunch. When I asked him if he is touch with his ex-colleagues, he said no.
Then I told him about Doximity, a superb concept that enables doctors to access other doctors in any field of medicine to seek professional collaboration.
In a quick 3 step process, physicians register in Doximity and their up to date profile indicate their branch of medicine, where they are presently working and in what capacity etc.
I then showed him a sample profile of Dr. Lorissa Segal MD, also a specialist in Internal Medicine. Doximity is the only network that has combined such valuable information into cohesive profiles.
After he thanked me, he admitted that his decision to leave the U.S. is a costly mistake though he is doing well in India.
