Nashville cosmetology school offers federal aid.

“Madam, as an international candidate, would I get admission in Nashville cosmetology school with financial aid”, asked one of my bright students. My spontaneous thought was India could be losing an excellent mathematician because she is just too good at mathematics.

Well, it is her choice to enter the world of beauties. I told her I would gather relevant information soon and went about the task. I saw in the Website of Regency Beauty School that since their courses are accredited by National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences (NACCAS), students are eligible to apply to get federal financial aid subject to qualifications.

I wonder what their qualification expectations are. I hope it would be made available to international students too.

I have heard that as the fastest growing beauty art institution, Regency beauty school is expanding to more states in the U.S. and that would mean admitting more students from other countries also.

Why all these smart madness?

Every where I see advertisements of SmartPhones. The television is bombarding me with ads of smartphones from all and sundry.

Tell me, exactly why I should buy a smartphone?

I am using my mobile phone only to talk and occasionally send short messages. How a smartphone will help me? Will it reduce my monthly bill?
Will it stop unsolicited calls and annoying short messages?

My current mobile phone connection is able to get me connected to the calls quickly enough! Would a smartphone beat that speed? Or will it just catch my thought and get me connected to the person I am thinking about?

Why all these smart madness?

Look at my handsome son.

My son is leaving for Prague and Berlin during this Christmas weekend. I was talking to him yesterday and he sounded eager to get away from work. He has been working non-stop for the past 4 months and badly needed a break.

And what a break he is taking! I gave him useful(?) motherly tips for his safe journey. He kept saying 'OK'. I wonder whether he really let any of my tips to sink in.

BTW, do you know that he has fully utilized the new timeline feature introduced by Facebook by placing his photos of him since his childhood to his living in Oslo as on date, chronologically?

I liked this image of him you see here. Isn't he handsome!

Never buy PLR article without consulting me.

My procrastination finally ended when I dusted off the PLR stuff on interesting and amazing subjects that forgotten or not discussed any longer. Don’t you believe me?

For example, what do you know about the term called "operating principles" that the mankind has taken for granted even though they can be called lies because they cannot be just logically explained?

The title, “Useful lies” would definitely make anyone to sit up and read further. They are beliefs which cannot be proven but still they are harmless. In fact, they do good to us.

As I skimmed through that PLR article, I concluded it was a hopeless article and could not at all justify the title.

However, I decided to compile a series of blog posts on ‘useful lies’ though with a different perspective.

Stay tuned!

Oh yes, never buy PLR article without consulting me. In addition, don’t ever accept free PLR. They are pure junk.

If you're spiritually curious, there is still hope!

I just smile away when some of my students or teacher friends ask me if I am believer? To reply would mean defending my beliefs. I am of the firm opinion that you should never defend your beliefs.

I once made a blog post titled, "Why should be go to temples" based on a sentence that I read which goes like this: "When you are DOWN to nothing.... God is UP to something!"..

Long after I wrote that blog post, I have more answers for the same question. The urge to burst out with revealing answers is strong but I am also taught not to yield to such temptations which would compromise one's basic premises.

There is hope, always but only for those who are curious.

Who manufactures the best stainless steel watches?

Have you noticed this trend? The preference for light weighted gadgets does not apply to watches alone. We prefer feather light mobiles, iPods that weigh less than 50 grams but we like to wear a stainless steel watch. Doesn’t it strike odd?

Another oddity is, even though we like to feel the weight of the watch on our wrist, we use only (mostly) leather or rubber watch strap. Inexplicably, we don’t like to use a steel watch strap which was in vogue during our grandfather’s time.

I recently saw in a fashion magazine a lovely looking stainless steel watch with golden hands. It is made by Teno, not so well known in India but people here are aware of this watch brand.

Look the image of it here. Looks really beautiful-right?

Want to look beautiful?

It has been my long wish to start a blog on various makeup items, diet, exercise and tips to look beautiful. It might have been my lack of opportunities to make myself appear attractive that probably urged me to read hundreds of articles on fashion, appearance etc that I wanted to share.

I know there is stiff competition to rank high for beauty niche. Nevertheless, I love the challenge to compete with them. I am confident of my blog marketing skills plus I have compiled extraordinary resources for my beauty blog.

What is the best price for a refurbished desktop PC?

I was stunned when I began my search for refurbished computers that I need to buy for my mathematics academy, not because of the various options but because of confusing words. Refurbished computers are also sold as ‘reused computers’, ‘recycled computers’ and ‘end of life computers’. Naturally, I had to postpone my purchase before I educated myself properly about what are the differences between them.

Though the computer prices have fallen a lot since I bought my first computer 12 years ago, I know it is not advisable to buy new computers to teach school students who are not likely to use them with caution.

In addition, I have no budget for 8 new computers; that is the reason for my shopping for used computers that are sold after refurbishing and still come with limited period warranty.

What do you think is the best price for a refurbished desktop PC that has a one year old configuration?
