A question to Ganguly and Dravid.

Dear Ganguly and Dravid. Being a big fan of both of you, I always read whenever your views about Indian cricket team is published. As I already expressed, I was really shocked when you expressed your strong opinion about the way Dhoni led his team in New Zealand.

Both of you wanted Kholi to lead India. It was obvious that the BCCI heeded to your opinion and Kholi got the captaincy within a few weeks of your views. I thought Kholi's temperament would disqualify him to be a leader though he is the best batsman in the world today.

Now, Indian team is back without the Asia cup. What did Kholi do that India did not win? How his captaincy is different from that of Dhoni? Please cite specific instances when you are affirmative.

Which country performs better when touring?

The criticism of Dhoni's captaincy is really unwarranted. Just because India lost two series away, it doesn't mean Dhoni did not lead well. Which country performs better when touring?

Australia lost the ashes in England.
England lost the ashes in Australia.
Australia is now about to lose in South Africa.

Every country that comes to India are beaten black and blue. It is the same story everywhere. Every country performs better when they are playing in their own places.

I am surprised Dravid too joined others and shouted for Dhoni's removal. I don't think Kholi is a leader material. His volatile temper is not good for leadership. Sure, he is the best batsman currently in Indian team but asking him to lead the Indian team as if he is the best, is not correct. He will not set a good example as a captain.

Michael Clarke stars in the first Ashes test match.

First, it was Warner who showed the real Aussie color during the first Ashes test match. Now, it is the turn of Michael Clarke who was caught sledging in a real bad language that only the ugly Aussies can speak. Would they behave the same way with their family?

It seems they don't play cricket the way they were taught. They pick up good cricket along with bad mouths. They don't grow-right? Shame on ICC and the umpires to let things go ugly over these years.

Ricky Ponting is smiling in relief in Australia.

I apprecaite the courage our Cricket team selectors in dropping Gambir. He is in very poor form. I have been watching the way he was getting out. It indicated that he did not know where his off stump was. He is out of confidence region. I don't think he would stage a comeback in the near future.

On the other hand, not selecting Mohammed Shammi and opting for Dinda is shocking. The whole nation, every expert commentator was full of praise for Shammi. We all heard what Gavaskar said about Dinda. Very perplexing selection.

I think Murali Vijay would continue to sit in the pavilion. I am glad for Shikar Dhawan. He would firmly shut the doors for Gambir and other contenders for the opening batsman slot.

I am more than shocked that the selectors opted for Rahane in place of Suresh Raina. He certainly deserve this shabby treatment. Very ungrateful of selectors. At least they should have roped Ambatti Rayudu in place of Rahane.

I don't think Harbajan would threaten even the number 11 Aussie batsman though I wish he create another history. Ricky Ponting is smiling in relief in Australia.

Where are these cricketers?

Both my favorite batsman Gambir and my smart mobile failed. The only difference was, my mobile failed for the first time.

I wish Gambir watches the video clippings of his batting in the lase few matches. Like so many Indian cricketers, Gambir refuses to acknowledge the fact that he is free to move his front foot. His not-so-confident body language is written all over his face.

Ah, the hyped Rohit Sharma whose batting rarely clicks failed yet again. It is a rude treatment given by the team selection to Rahane. He is the best opening batsmen in India today and he is the only young cricketer who believes in himself firmly.

If I have a say, I would dump Gambir and install Rahane. A little bit of such treatments have proven to do wonders to cricketers.

What happened to Manoj Tiwari? Surely, he must have recovered from his injury! And then, there is Shikar Dawan, who is a very positive batsman. Why selectors are not looking at his direction?

Tell me, when was the last time their names looked up at you in the newspapers?

Not a wicket to fall even after 42 overs.

42 over have been bowled. I think I look at the score at least 10 times since the start of the England innings. Not a wicket has been taken by the much hyped Indian spinners.

I have no hope. There is simply no joy in watching India playing test cricket. It is simply not in their blood stream anymore which is replaced by IPL T20.

I feel Sachin is feeling lonely there without Dravid and Lakshman. He us just pulling along. After several years, the Indian tail is long. Fice wickets down and the tail starts.

Even though I should give full credit to the English batsmen for keeping my hopes dashed, being a typical Indian, I don't enjoy being thrashed.

I foresee not a bright future for the present Indian test team though I fervently wish sunny days for them.

I had enough of disappointment. I don't think I would have the heart to see the Indian cricket team take another beating. This is the worst performance of them that I ever witnessed. Time and again, the entire team failed miserably.

It is not apt to say that the Indian players lack fighting spirit which helps only when it is supported by good armoury. They simply lack technique to play at such high levels outside India. My god! How poorly they perform when they tour!

The opening partnership had been India's strength for long. Now, that shelf is empty. Middle order batting could not makeup for the top order failure.

It hurt more when the most dependable Sachin Tendulkar failed repeatedly. I know one cannot expect so much from him alone but then, we are used to his huge face-saving
contributions-right?

Drowned Down Under.

Yes, I think Indian cricket team would be cooked up at the end of 4th test match. The Indians are beaten, bruised, hurt and bleeding. There are too many people citing as many reasons for Indian team's surrender. I am sure the captain and the rest of the playing eleven knows the real reasons. Nevertheless, they won't talk frankly.

Do I have a strategy to defeat the Aussies at their home?

You bet and again, like me, millions of Indian cricket fans would offer a plan that they would claim as defeat proof.

The top two who are called openers are doing their job-opening the slide. It is where the Indian team should be courageous to make change. Yes, they need courage to bring openers who have the patience and temperament displayed by the likes of Sunil Gavaskar and Wasim Jaffer.

Abinav Mukund can be pushed in though I think he is not endowed with many strokes. Still, the Indian team can now afford to experiment as there is nothing more to lose.

Ashwin's answer to Gambhir.

I think Gambhir would shut up now instead of rebutting or criticizing team mates' opinions. He unnecessarily shot back on Ashwin's opinion on Mumbai cricket pitch.

Ashwin replied fittingly with a century. He was the top scorer in the Indian team filled with Gambhir, Sehwag, Tendulkar, Dravid, Lakshman, Kholi and Dhoni!

Ashwin never said he is not ready to bowl on Mumbai cricket pitch. He just expressed his experience of bowling there and how the wicket responded. Gambhir sounded hurt.

I like to see Gambhir batting positively. That's all.

English cricketer Patel resorts to ancient trick.

If a cricket team just vanquished the world champions, naturally their pride would be high on the world. However, what if the same team starts losing to the same world champions with in a few weeks? Their pride will hit the dirt. Oh yes, it is natural and understandable too.

The next natural thing would be for any such team would be to pull up their socks and try to play a better cricket. That is what a true sportsman would do!

Oh no! Not us says the English cricket man Samit Patel. I am sure his name would not ring a bell among genuine cricket lovers. Therefore, let me introduce him to you. Samit Patel plays for England cricket team and bats somewhere lower.

I don't know how he bats but he surly can play cricket with his mouth. He declared grandly that the entire English team is going to abuse the Indian cricket team on the ground. The euphemism for that brave act is 'sledging'.

Thanks to Chennai Super Kings for the meek surrender to a team that bothered none so far in the Champions League 2011. With their exit from the tournament, CSK has helped thousands of its ardent fans to stay away from television thereby saving them time and money.

I will never watch any cricket match hereafter which is going to save me thousands of valuable hours. Already, millions of Indian cricket fans were forced to lose their interest due to Indian cricket team's spineless performance in England.

The poor performances of CSK, RCB and Mumbai Indians would make the crickets stands empty. The revenue drop will hit the BCCI and their pride will take a severe beating.

Murali Vijay's disappointing show in South Africa.

What is Murali Vijay doing in South Africa? His string of low scores in ODI is baffling considering his ability. I think he is not playing his natural game.

I wanted him to perform well after seeing his century plus score in the recent T20 championship. But he has not justified the faith of the national selectors and fans like me.

I would like to see him give way to Sourab Tiwary, an exciting ODI batsman. In the absence of Shewag, Gambhir, Schin, I expected Murali Vijay to play responsibly. He could see that in Sachin and Laxman.

I think Virat Kholi is all confidence and dynamic. He is playing well. Rohit Sharma too be given more chances to prove his immense mettle.

This time, it is Mitchell Johnson who tried his mouth in mental teasers. He was reported in the media that he is going to bowl short pitch ball to Sehwag to prevent him from dominate the Aussie bowling.

Sharne Warne can't take any more of the English onslaught in the cricket field. He is sure that Australia can't beat England any more. He can't tolerate this humiliation.

He finds no way to motivate the Ponting's bunch to play and win. So he resorted to oral aggression. He asked his compatriots to get aggressive at least orally and attack the England cricket players by throwing .....

Badrinath Vs Kohli.

So, what is state of mind Badrinath? You made a big hue and cry over the issue of your selection (non-selection?) to Indian cricket team for the just concluded SriLanka tour. You were furious over the selection of Virat Kohli.

Now, he has proved his mettle and justified his selection. This really means he is more talented in you. But you stuck to your favorite number 6 in two innings.

I sincerely wanted to you to shine but you disappointed me and thousands of Madrasis.

This will be a lesson for you not to show your disappointment over selection issues and make a diplomatic statement in future if such a situation arise. Don't be always led by media who are out get the words out of you.

I am a big fan of you Harbajan Singh. I appreciate your fighting spirit on the cricket ground but definitely not off the ground.

What you did yesterday to Sreesanth is deplorable. You behaved like an illiterate. You proved what Hayden told about you.

You have betrayed the Indian cricket team's support to you when you were charged of serious allegations in Australia recently. Just because you are a senior cricketer, you had a junior hit a cricketer; I dare you do the same against Afridi, Bret Lee or any other cricketer who stared at you.

You have brought disgrace to India. You just don't have sportsman spirit at all. If you can't take defeat graciously, just quit playing cricket man; Indian team won't miss you.
