The best online coaching website.

I am racing against time. I have so much preparation to do for my M.Phil exam on Saturday. Besides I have to prepare the test paper on Algebra for the school final students. I am conducting this test this afternoon.

Amidst all this hectic activity, I promised my colleague that I will definitely look up on this online tutoring web site and give my feedback.

Somehow, I squeezed in a few minutes and visited Tutorvista.com. The first impression I got when I landed on their home was excitement because all my favorite math subjects were listed.

Though the price for unlimited all subjects tuition package is beyond many of my students, I can ask one or two students who can afford, to avail their concession offer of $24.99 package for unlimited all subjects tuition. But I must remember to tell them that this is for the first month only.

I have also noted that they operate separately for Indians. As my most of students belong to the C.B.S.E. pattern, this website is also offering online classes for them.

Job openings in Europe.

I think this is a blessing in disguise. There was a power failure for about two hours yesterday.
This stopped my blogging task and I was getting edgy because I had to complete a couple of blog posts in a few hours.

To while away the time, I used my laptop that had about 20 minutes of battery time. Aimlessly browsing on job related websites, I came upon Considerati, that lists all the technical job openings in Europe.

Yes, know I am not eligible to apply for any post because I am a nontechie. I write this blog post for the benefit of you dear reader.

I read several lucrative offers. Grab one if you are up to it, else, please pass it on.

Visit Bid4prizes now to win.

I just watched a video clip that showed the winner of a Scion car, Shanelle from Maryland. She won this free gift without shelling out a penny.

I am not kidding you dear, this is real. Watch it live by clicking on the link above.

There are so many prizes to be won such as cash prize of up to $50K, free gifts that includes a plasma TV, Video game console and many more.

You and I too can stand a chance to enter into a sweepstake by participating in this exciting reverse auction game offered by bid4prizes.com.

It is very easy to know the rules, what is meant by the lowest unique bid etc once you watch the video clip explaining all these in a very clear manner.

Below the image of each prize, you will see a timer clicking away telling you how much time is left to bid. There is a button below the timer that says ‘Bid Now’. Once you press that button, just follow the on screen easy to follow instructions.

Remember, there is nothing for you to lose; not even a single penny to be paid.

What you can do with WikiYou?

Mashable described it as a twitter plus wikipedia.

As of date, I have not explored WikiYou.

How it works:
WikiYou is the Wikipedia about YOU!

1. Search for people you know.
2. Update the profiles you find.
3. Create profiles you can't find.

Add yourself so others can find you!

"Wikiyou is the unauthorized biography of every person on earth"-says WikiYou.
So, anyone is free to write about anybody. The feature of creating our own profile-I mean full profile resembles the fundamentals of Twitter.

Hmmm... must be interesting.

Cheaper than hotels in Paris

Call it a coincidence or destiny or whatever other fitting name, I have a friend named Darlene Nicholson; I came into contact with her when I was reading “The Word” by Irving Wallace in which an important character’s name is also Darlene Nicholson.

It all happened way back in 1979 that I actually met her during our college tour to France and England. My new friend Darlene Nicholson accompanied me to the ancient and holy Louvre, also featured in that novel by IW.

The Paris Hotel manager went out of the way to give us valuable tips and guidance on the places to see in Paris and nearby and several words in French were also taught by him.

Remembering from reading so many novels, I boasted of my knowledge about Paris. I insisted that we see the Champs-Elysees first and then see other landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Arc de Triomphe.

Prior to our departure from India, everyone was given some assignment; I was asked to give a report on Hotels in France. I think I was lucky to have gotten it. It was quite easy for me and I added extra two pages of information about Hotels in Paris.

Trivia:
*Do you that Paris was called Lutetia during the first- to sixth-century Roman occupation?
*The Eiffel Tower was built for the French Revolution centennial 1889 Universal Exposition, as a "temporary" display of architectural engineering prowess but remained the world's tallest building until 1930.
*Paris is known for its sudden showers.

A visit to the Paris is incomplete without shopping for perfumes. We were advised to go to Avenue Montaigne next to the Champs-Élysées, which is home to luxury brand labels such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton (LVMH), Dior and Givenchy.

Custom Orlando vacation package.

I am also one among you that don’t like ready made vacation package. The reason is obvious-can’t spend more time at a place you feel peaceful. Another reason is I don’t like rigorous sight seeing schedule.

That’s why I buy vacation package always from a holiday service provider who is flexible to my planning.

I know many such holiday makers in India but I did not know of such a service provider in the U.S. till recently when my cousin introduced to me about 6 holiday makers.

I was actually planning for a holiday in Disney World. For Cheap Disney World Vacation Packages, the best place must be packages.orlandovacation.com because of their long years of experience and their relationship with hundreds of hotels and vacation rental homes.

Another important matter is the ability to customize my week long vacation schedule.

In their website I was asked to answer a few questions and once completed, the screen displayed several options.

Yes, I think I will settle with them.

Web Reference

I realize the time has come for me to move ahead technically. The podcast and video cast are catching up fast in the blogosphere. There is no pint in excusing myself due to ignorance.

I learnt some essential tips in podcasting from Web Reference.

"You've successfully recorded your podcast and you want to get it online. Before you do so, you need to use Audacity to clean up the recording and edit it. "

Hmm... obviously, I am lagging far behind. So, first, I must know the functioning of this audio software called 'Audocity'.(what a name!)

Ok, let me see how far it goes. I am going to be sincere in my attempt to learn podcasting.

Tracking visitors to improve sales.

I agree it involves money but tracking website visitors is a must or any serious net entrepreneur.

Professional web masters who operate an e-commerce based web site analyze the following.
*Total visitors on any given day and how many of them are unique visitors.
*Analyze the visitors origin-I mean where they came from.

By analyzing their web site's traffic, they will find out which page of their web site attracted the maximum hits. But you get visitors but no sales are forthcoming, then you must analyze the reason for poor conversion.

There are several solutions to analyze the web traffic. Web Trends is one such provider of web analytical tools.

"WebTrends Marketing Lab offers comprehensive, flexible and scalable web analytics, automatic optimization of online advertising, real-time visitor segmentation based on cross-channel insight and customer targeting solutions for relationship marketing."

The main question is-"can we afford it?" ans "Is it worth". We can get the answers only by trying.

Warning.Don't download.

This short blog is intended to help you with some useful tips and hints about the safety of your PC.

At times, we are browsing aimlessly without intending to visit any pre-destined websites, we may see a pop-up message from nowhere and in it we read that our PC has adult sites tracking and we are to download file that will remove those tracks.

The action that is required from us is no action. Just ignore the warning and continue browsing. But, we can contact that particular website from where the pop-up surfaced and inform of their malicious activities. Please note that they may advertising through such pop-ups for money.

Invariably, new comers to internet will be vulnerable to such phishing. Public internet centers should warn the users of such activities.

My data bus.

You are right exactly. I do always fear about storing important files online because one day, the website may close down after all.

Whether your photos, text files or even video, check the stability of the web site where you store. By stability, I mean its background etc.

My Data Bus is one such site that offers the facility to store online your photos, videos and documents.

It seems it has already has 100k users and that spells stability indeed. The service is free as of now and we can transfer files up to 250MB at a time and the store limit is 5GB. Thats huge really.

Sharing:
We share our stored files and folders with anyone after we create our own groups and invite those who join our groups.

Questions and answers about bullion market.

Why Monex.com is dependable?

How did they occupy a position of such esteemed stature in precious metals market?

Why Americans look up to Monex.com for their gold bullion investing?

I can think of several reasons for the above questions and one of them is their commitment to educate even a fresh investor in precious metals.

Look at the questions below that come to our mind and the answers by the experts in this field:

Q: Can savvy investors position into silver at low prices now before silver soars?

A; But prices are only likely to gain momentum after breaching last May's 25-year high of $15.17 an ounce, which compares with current prices of around $13.70.

"For silver to really look bullish, it has to get above $15. If we get above that, I believe silver could go to $20," Peter Hillyard, head of metals sales at ANZ Investment Bank, said.

Q: Is now a good time to put some wealth into gold coins?

A: "I studied this chart for a long time. And I don't see anything wrong with it. Gold has simply pulled too far away from its two moving averages. The 20-month MA now stands at 621. Nothing wrong with that. It's probably time to buy some more American Eagles, for some reason I like the shiny Eagles better than the new duller Buffalos. But either way, it's all gold."

Today, there are a number of convenient ways to buy gold coins and other precious metals from Monex. Depending on your particular situation, investment objectives and bullion trading needs, you may decide to invest in gold, silver, platinum or palladium outright in an all-cash purchase and have your purchase delivered to you via registered and insured U.S. Mail.

Visit their website for other ways to buy precious metals from them.

I envy the Bangaloreans.

No, not for the Bangalore weather (yes, I love the weather in Bangalore), but for their internet savvy nature.

Also, I happen to read hundreds of blogs that belong to Bangaloreans. I rarely come across an interesting blog authored by a Madrasi. (you can count me in)

Even a search in Goggle yielded results that are not very worthwhile to make a further search.

I would like to name "MetroBlogging Chennai" as one blog because that came up on top of the search page results.

Among the contributors of the blog, I liked Pavithra Srinivasan's blog because of her language and style.

My life, my words by Madhat.

It is surprising sometimes to know people with varied interest.

I too consider myself with diverse interest; after all I am a Gemini you know!(smile)
I happen to see an ad by Google by Blogbharti.com in which they have advertised that one can keep themselves update about Indian politics.

Though I have very strong views on the subject (who has not got), I never talk or write about politics in general.

Well, in Blogbharti.com, I was attracted by a name Madhat as one of the contributors for Blogbharti.com. I clicked on his name and landed in his blog. Yes, he definitely has varied interests.

Madhat tries not to live by the rules out lives in Bangalore, a city that he plans not to leave. Has wide-ranging interests, including feminism, world cinema, literature, music, computers, politics and culture.

I enjoyed reading his views on American toilets and Californian summer.

Multivend LLC continues to be the leader in this industry by constantly bringing out some thing new. Recently, Vendstar has added new product offerings to enhance the Vendstar 3000 machine.

*The Vendstar EZ-Count® Meter allows the vendor to derive exact collection amounts from each machine by digitally updating the total quarters accepted.

*Vendstar has also released a 1” wheel that will allow the Vendstar 3000 machine to dispense one inch gumballs and toy capsules.

This is a business that thrives in any economic and condition and the profit is instant and that too in cash.

Using instant messenger? Read this then.

Thank God, I don't use instant messengers. At the start of my internet career, I used Yahoo IM extensively. Then, as and when I started getting busy, those friends became an annoyance.

The reason for my gratitude towards God is the news I am hearing about several attacks on IMs.

Chat networks are the hot new venue for virus and malware authors. A new study says that malicious attacks over IM networks are up almost 80 percent compared to last year.

Akonix, which just released the statistics over the weekend, is in the business of developing IM “cleaning” services so you might want to take the numbers with a grain of salt, but still, according to Akonix’s survey there have been 226 exploits for IM networks this year, which is just over one a day.

So, what is the moral behind this story?

“As with everything else in the online world, make sure you trust your IM contacts before clicking a link or downloading any files sent over IM”.
