Want to look beautiful?

It has been my long wish to start a blog on various makeup items, diet, exercise and tips to look beautiful. It might have been my lack of opportunities to make myself appear attractive that probably urged me to read hundreds of articles on fashion, appearance etc that I wanted to share.

I know there is stiff competition to rank high for beauty niche. Nevertheless, I love the challenge to compete with them. I am confident of my blog marketing skills plus I have compiled extraordinary resources for my beauty blog.

New home made recipes for glowing skin.

This image in Yahoo! naturally attracted my eyes. The title for the image was, "Glowing Skin".

The sub-title was "home remedies for glowing skin".

Which woman ignores this topic? We, the women would like to be as appealing as possible even at 70. Excuse me men for not including you.

The first home made beauty concoction was using coconut oil and jojoba oil with water. This is certainly a new recipe for shining skin. I have used tender coconut water but never mixed it with rose water.

Are you aware of this beauty tip from Yahoo!? Have you used it? Do you have any feedback to offer?

There were more recipes for beautiful skin in Yahoo!. One of them spoke about mixing milk powder with almond, glycerine and lemon juice.

Eye wrinkles bothering you?

If my guess is right (yours too), there are more beauty products like wrinkle cream, fairness cream, sun lotion and lip gloss than life saving medicines.

My snail mail box (email inbox also) is stuffed with sales pamphlets that cry for our attention towards anti aging creams and diet pills that none in our family need.

Then there are seasonal campaigns for lip gloss and sun protection creams that might start arriving soon as the summer is just about to start.

Of all the beauty related products, wrinkle cream may be slowest moving one! Does it imply anything? Have people stopped aging? Beauty conscious people must be paying more attention to their face before it is too late.

Yes, my son also just bleached his face and he regularly uses cucumber paste on his face. I think he is letting me know that he is ready for marriage.

Simply, on the face of it..

I had the misfortune of severing the long relationship with my beautician simply because she failed to deliver just once. Rather, I should say her face cream failed to hide the lines on my face. We worked together once in an advertising agency.

I ended up as an academician and she as a beautician.

I suddenly got an opportunity to go to Cairo in 25 days notice. I was prepared and in fact exited but the mirror told me my face is not prepared. Yes, I saw the lines, now more distinct even to a 6 year old child.

I cursed myself for not looking closely at the mirror and rushed to the beautician who held up a face cream that was said to remove the wrinkles in 15 days. Though I was skeptic, I thought, it could at least succeed in fading away the lines in 25 days.

Then God solved the issue easily. He simply cancelled my Cairo trip. Right now, I am calling my beautician for an appointment. (Smile)

Can Aloe Vera fade out stretch marks?

Yes, Aloe Vera can and will fade stretch marks, provided no other stretch mark creams are used along with Aloe Vera. I am saying it firmly because of my experience.

Immediately after I noticed light stretch marks on my stomach, I did some research on the best natural treatment for removing or at least fading away the stretch marks at the early stage.

All the first three search results pointed to Aloe Vera but they differed on the form of Aloe Vera that we either apply on the stretch marks or consume as a vitamin.

I referred to a few old ladies in the house, made a gel like substance from Aloe Vera and applied it on the affected area for visible results.

How we have gained weight since 1990?

We wanted thin cell phones, slim TVs, small laptops and tiny pen drives and so on. If the gadget or any other instrument is still being sold as big, as big as they were built in the 1990s, we conclude they are not technologically advanced and thus not keeping up with the latest trends.

But, we on the other hand, are growing bulkier every day and now solely depend on diet pill or treadmill to keep up our figure to match our ultra thin gadgets.

We human beings naturally would like to appear at our best and we feel that bulky contour is not beautiful to look at. That is why we began appreciating anything slim.

I wanted to live by the fine examples set by mu husband but no, I just could not exorcise the female vanity. I have been trying to set the age clock back to 30 years even since I crossed 45.

Quite a futile effort-eh?

But I know, it is futile but still I am at it like a typical female. Even I bought an ebook titled, "The Five Secret Rituals". It is about simple but precise body movements. They were discovered back in the 1930's - inside a remote Tibetan monastery, high up in the Himalayas.

I am living very away from Himalayas. I really had no intention of following a monk's discovery. So I gifted the book off to someone I don't even remember.

You see, somehow the book found the way back to me. Yes, I received the book as a gift from again a person that I don't remember to have met in my life thus far.

Condor's splendour.

I woke up 4.30 AM today and habitually switched on my desktop. While it was getting loaded, I washed myself and prepared to make coffee.

When I sat in front of my PC while the coffee maker was informing that it is active by the those odd sounds, I saw this bird, a huge one really occupying the entire monitor screen.

I am sure it must have been the work of my husband who shrieks with child like delight whenever he sees a new bird.


I don't know the name of this bird. Oh, wait, it is a Condor.It must belong to eagle's family!

Scary attraction for women.

What attracts women in men?
These kinds of definitely not useful studies and research are being carried out irrespective of economic recession, natural catastrophes, violence against vulnerable. But the results after these studies are always amusing if not useful.

It is the turn of Englishmen to take up the study on why Harrison Ford ans Sean Connery were liked by women all over the world.

The result in short: Women find men with facial scars sexy!

Many women find Ford’s scar on his chin and Connery’s on his face as unique beauty marks that boosts the sex appeal of the two Hollywood celebrities.

But why?
Who can reveal the subconscious values? These studies can only make some guess.

The British study has suggested that scarring associated with violence may signal to a woman that the man has a risk-taking personality or above average masculinity, both of which might appeal to women for short term relationships.
