Do books earn you friends?

There will not be a single 'NO' for an answer to the above question.

We choose to buy books on recommendations and reviews. We read reviews on line and still ask around if anyone has read that particular book and if so, what is their feedback.

For me, I have earned quite a lot of friends because of books only and we all still keep in touch, share books and save money, offer tips and reviews and we even meet occasionally.
