Why Dish TV is always behaving in unsatisfactory way?
Why do they take so much time to get their customers account credited with recharge amount?
This is a high speed communication era. It takes only a few seconds to let anyone know what you are doing at present and the whole world knows about it instantly.
Online banking transactions are great boon to individuals and corporate bodies. The money is almost immediately debited as soon as you send money to anyone's bank account. But Dish TV alone takes more than 48 hours to acknowledge the receipt of payment.
Earlier, before I stopped receiving their messages on my mobile, as soon as I receive a payment acknowledgement message, I would receive another message asking me to pay my subscription.
In order to cut down such confusing messages, I opted out of their short messaging service.
Yesterday, I transferred the monthly subscription to their account from my ICICI bank account. To my astonishment, my satellite TV service was disconnected. When I called up Dish TV and conveyed my payment details, they said they did not receive it!
I have complaints about Dish TV's technical aspects. But their customer service from administrative side is far from satisfactory.
I am sure my money was swallowed in cyber space by cyber monster.

The best method to brew Green Tea.
I was not surprised when I heard that green tea stops you from going bald. Articles like these are frequently published in Yahoo! If you were alert and read similar articles on the web site, you might recall green tea works the other way.
Similarly, I have read several times about how coffee help in preventing heart attack and it’s opposite.
I generally don’t take these health advices (unsolicited of course) seriously. I don’t like green tea and I am a coffee lover and would stick to it despite contradictory news about coffee time and again.
Green Tea:
Most people are encouraged to drink green tea after reading articles in the Internet about its positive effects and how it improves blood circulation. I agree Green Tea is good for us but the product we buy from grocery shops is of very low quality.
Green Tea should be brewed like Chine or Japanese to make use of its good qualities.

Liposuction in India?
Are liposuction surgeries done in India? If so, are being done in Chennai?
These two questions came to my mind after I was asked to write an article on "Women plastic surgeons in India". I believe they now prefer to be referred as cosmetic surgeons. So, be it!
I let loose my personal online secretary called Google and for a change this time, his results revealed the information without much browsing.
This is what I could gather:
* Rarely, an Indian over weight persons undergoes liposuction to get rid of the excess fat.
* Naturally, I could not find any women plastic surgeons.
* If at all liposuction is the final resort, only celebrities, the bold and beautiful opt for it and that too not in India.
* There is one cosmetic surgery center in Bombay that is well known.
Ah, here is one woman cosmetic surgeon. She is called Dr. Srisha in Bangalore.
May be, I should search medical directories and compile list of women plastic surgeons in India.
Care to assist me?

Touch screen laptops at big discount.
Getting used to touch screen laptops would take time for most of us. I got it all wrong when I took a test demonstration at a computer and accessories exhibition four months ago. Having used the mouse for more than 10 years, the right hand involuntarily reached out for the mouse. I left the exhibition without buying a laptop.
A week before, I was asked to chair a seminar on using computer to teach mathematics for primary class children. Imagine my shock and embarrassment when I was given a touch screen laptop to show my power point presentation that my husband developed for me!
I discreetly exchanged the gadget for a traditional laptop with a mouse pad and a mouse. Yes, I am yet to get used to touch pad operation.
During the seminar itself, I realized that touch screen computers would soon obliterate the traditional computers after watching every other participant handling their touch screen laptops with utmost ease.

Born between 1930-1979 ?
We actually survived and are alive to tell to tell about it! :-) No matter what our kids and the new generation think about us, Courtesy: Dr.Revathi Ravikumar
WE ARE AWESOME !!!!
OUR LIFE IS A LIVING PROOF !!!!
To Those of Us Born during
1930 - 1979
TO ALL THE KIDS WHO SURVIVED THE
1930's, 40's, 50's,
60's and 70's!!
We were put to sleep on our tummies in baby cots covered
with bright colored lead-base paints.
We had no child proof lids on medicine bottles, locks on doors or cabinets and when we rode our bikes,
we had no caps or
helmets on our heads.
As infants & children, we would ride in cars with no car seats, no booster seats, no seat belts, no air bags, bald tires and some times no brakes.
Riding in the back of a pick- up truck on a warm day was always a special treat.
We drank water from the garden hose and not from a bottle.
We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle and no one actually died from this.
We ate cup cakes and other sweets made with Butter & white sugar but were not over weight.
WHY?
Because we were always outside playing....that's why!
We would leave home in the morning, go to school mostly on foot and play all day, as long as we were back when the streetlights came on..
No one was able to reach us all day. There were no cell phones, not even land lines and, we were OKAY.
We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps
and then ride them down the hill,
only to find out we forgot the brakes. After running into the bushes a few times, we learned to solve the problem
We did not have Play stations, Nintendo's and X-boxes. There were no video games, no 150 channels on cable, no video movies or DVD's,
no surround-sound or CD's,
no cell phones,
no personal computers,
no Internet and no chat rooms.
WE HAD FRIENDS and we went outside and found them!
We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and teeth and there were no lawsuits from these accidents.
We would get punishments like caning, spankings with sticks, or just a bare hands and no one would call child services to report abuse.
We rode bikes or walked to a friend's house and knocked on the door or rang the bell, or just walked in and talked to them.
Imagine that!!
The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke the law was unheard of. They actually sided with the law!
These generations have produced some of the best Managers
risk-takers, problem solvers and inventors ever.
The past 50 years have been an explosion of innovation and new ideas. What can kids today do besides push buttons..
We had freedom, failures, successes and responsibility, and we learned how to deal with it all.
If YOU are one of them, CONGRATULATIONS!
You might want to share this with others who have had the luck to grow up as kids, before the lawyers and the government regulated so much of our lives for our own good.
While you are at it, forward it to your kids so they will know how brave and lucky their parents were.

Cheapest dedicated server.
Believe me; I am so much better when it comes to web hosting, server technology and secured server requirements. It was a tough journey learning it all by myself.
Now, I am able to chose what kind of server is needed for my new website idea, what is the space needed and what bandwidth might be required considering the foreseen traffic etc.
A veteran webmaster that I know who is living in Australia advised me that I should now buy my own dedicated server because I VRE has grown many fold. I now operate 23 blogs, 72 websites besides my blogging training academy.
It seems sensible to buy my dedicated server. However, when I sought information on the subject, I was overwhelmed with what was presented to me by a couple of webmaster forums. It looks like I will have tough time choosing the cheapest dedicated server.
Any advice?
