A few years ago, one of my best friends, a doctor, underwent
an extensive substance abuse program. In layman’s words, he was an inpatient of
a rehab that is known well for giving the best
drug treatment in the U.S.
Yes, you guessed it right. It is the rehab in Malibu,
California that was recommended highly by his colleagues in India. I don’t know
to which drug he was addicted but he learnt that the rehab he chose is known to
cure even extreme cases.
During the course of his stay at the rehab, he conveyed to
his colleagues the treatment methods applied to him and the various facilities
provided to him. He was regularly blogging about his treatment with the help of
the staff at the rehab.
Though he returned to India fresh and fully rehabilitated,
he recently died in an accident. I came to know about his demise only
yesterday.
