Zlob is a back door Trojan that allows the remote attacker to perform various malicious actions on the compromised computer.

Zlob is a notorious Trojan program that is specifically developed to provide other malicious applications an immediate control over infected computer systems. Starts automatically in every Windows startup, Zlob program changes PC settings as well as modifies various files saved in computer systems. Since Zlob is categorized under a high-risk level PC threat, it is highly recommended for users to remove the application once computers get infiltrated.


Zlob is a Trojan
A Trojan is a malicious program that is disguised as or embedded within legitimate software. Trojans install themselves onto your computer secretly. Many Trojans will often be downloaded in email attachments ie .avi, .pif, .exe, .jpg files and media even codecs. Trojans may gain complete control over a system once installed.

A Trojan will usually delete files, steal passwords, change system settings, monitor and record your PC activity.Spyware Trojans are used to infiltrate a users system and once inside a Trojan can create or issue system messages, deliver advertisements, install Spyware, Rogue Anti-Spyware, Adware and other malicious software. Many Trojans also have stealth like features where the parasite can lie dormant in your system background making it extremely hard to detect.

Trojans can infect through email attachments
By visiting a web site a Trojan can infect by passing through a browser security loophole. Trojans can even bypass a firewall disguised as part of a user’s browser.
Through instant messenger programs a Trojan can also infect. If not secured by a good firewall Trojans can pass when sharing files using programs like ICQ, AOL, MSN Messenger and others.
A Trojan can enter your PC when bundled with freeware or other malicious software
