A new book on Appreciative Coaching.

My sister Malathy is considered as the best Maths teacher in her locality. Do you know that she conducts entrance exam to take in students? I wonder what will she say about “Appreciative Coaching”.

I am emailing her this blog post. The book ‘Appreciative Coaching: A Positive Process for Change’ is written by three eminent academicians of Capella University- the best
e-learning institution in America since 1993.

In this book, the education is more focused on psychological methods of assessing the student’s level of understanding and knowledge and adopting the coaching methods that is more suitable to the student.

It is all achieved through posing positive questions, different test methods to measure the individual’s strengths and weaknesses.

Sara Orem, PhD, a faculty member in the online university’s School of Business and Technology, is one of the authors of this book and the other two are Jacqueline Binkert and Ann Clancy. Both hold PhD degree.
